What is a governance report?
Governance Reports are ‘snapshot’ reports such as a health report, change request or closure report. They form part of the governance process in Verto and are accessible to users from within their project or programme.
When a new governance report is created, any relevant information from the project or programme is pulled into it and becomes locked in the stage view. This is to prevent anyone else from amending the same data whilst a report is being prepared. A locked field in the stage view is identified by the padlock symbol against it. Click on the padlock to reveal the reason for the lock. Any changes made via the report are only copied back to the project or programme when an approval process is completed.
Governance reports are accessed via the Governance Reports icon in the left-hand menu:

Health Report
The ‘health’ governance report pulls the following information from the stage into the form for review and approval (workflow dependent):
- Health Information (from Overview Section)
- Tasks & Milestones
- Financials
- Benefits
- Risks
- Issues
- Approvals
Change Request
The change request governance report pulls the following information from the stage into the form for review and approval (workflow dependent):
- Change Request Details
- Tasks & Milestones
- Financials
- Benefits
- Approvals
Closure Report
The ‘closure’ governance report pulls the following information from the stage into the form for review and approval (workflow dependent):
- Overview Information (i.e. overall status, start and delivery dates, aims)
- Tasks & Milestones
- Financials
- Benefits
- Risks
- Issues
- Lessons Learned
- Approvals
