To group tasks and milestones together, whilst in the Gantt view select the downward arrow next to Add Milestone and select Indent/Outdent (Drag & Drop).
Position your cursor over a task or milestone and then drag and drop it onto the task or milestone you wish to make the parent. The relocated task or milestone will be highlighted in blue and the parent will now have a triangle icon next to it indicating a group has been created.
If the link has been made incorrectly click the ← icon on the right-hand side to outdent the task or milestone.
Remember
- The order in which all tasks and milestones are listed on the screen is based on their end date.
- If you have groups of indented tasks and milestones in your plan, then each group will be sorted by end date under the parent. It is not possible to re-order this. The same applies for the order in which the top-level parent tasks or milestones appear in the plan.
