Q3 2025 Release Notes

The following is a summary of the key enhancements which will be delivered in the third release of 2025: 

Verto Intelligence Data Insights - Powerful AI Feature

We’re excited to launch Verto's Data Insights tool - a solution designed to empower smarter decision-making across your projects and programmes. With artificial intelligence now an integral part of everyday working practices, our Data Insights tool harnesses AI technology to provide actionable, data-driven clarity on project and programme statuses. Verto Intelligence Assisted Data Importing - Risk Import

We are equally excited to announce the launch of our new AI-assisted data import. This powerful feature enables both administrators and end users to bring programme and project risk registers directly into the system. By harnessing AI technology, we have been able to eliminate the challenges previously posed by differing site configurations and Excel file formats. Standard Resourcing Enhancements

  • There is now a new ‘Select All’ checkbox which allows a single resource to be instantly assigned across all time periods in a resource request. See How to view and allocate resource for more information.
  • The Heatmap view can now be filtered by scale (daily, weekly, monthly) and units (hours, %, FTE), making it even easier to see resource allocation at the level you need. See How to view a resource heatmap for more information.
  • It is now possible to over-allocate when assigning resources to a request. Please contact Verto Support if you would like this setting applied to your site.
  • Compressed hours can now be added directly to a user’s profile, enabling Verto to automatically calculate exactly how many hours can be allocated to them each period. See User unavailability (My Calendar) for more information.
  • You can now request a resource for the days and times that work best for your project – with the added flexibility of weekend and bank holiday availability! See How to request a resource (weekend and bank holiday working) for more information.

WTE Resourcing Enhancements

  • It is now possible to record the relevant Directorate under which a Job Family sits, providing more depth to your resource data. See How to set up job families and band rates for more information. 
  • It is now possible to easily move an existing Job Title/Role to sit under a different Job Family. See How to set up job families and band rates for more information. 
  • The Job Families can now be filtered using the new filter funnels against Job Family/Title and Band for quick, targeted views. 

Boards

  • Users can now add a checklist to their cards. Each item can be assigned a due date, have members, and track completion. See How to add card checklists for more information. 
  • Users can now delete their unwanted board templates, bringing the process in line with how dashboard templates are managed. See How to create a board template for more information.

Dashboards

  • Following on from user feedback, the following widgets have been enhanced:
    • Updates Control: When viewing an ‘Updates’ control in a dashboard widget, the parent record i.e. the Risk or Issue details, will now be displayed.
    • Performance Widget: The performance widget will now take you directly back to the project after viewing an indicator.

General

  • For those sites using the ‘Risk’ lookup field in their risk configuration, when converting a risk into an issue, the selected answer will now be displayed in the corresponding issue lookup field ‘Risk Category’. See How to convert a risk to an issue for more information.
