An introduction to Power BI reporting in Verto

Verto includes a built-in Power BI report builder, providing access to a suite of 10 ready-made Power BI reports. These reports can be used as is or customised to better suit your needs. To ensure an intuitive and user‑friendly experience, the report builder is based on a core set of Verto fields. As a result, not all data or fields in your site will be accessible through this feature.

Advice

  • These supporting articles are intended to provide an overview of the Verto Power BI reporting and editing options, rather than serve as step‑by‑step instructions. They assume readers have prior knowledge of Power BI and understand how to create reports using the tool.

Who can access the Power BI reports?

All users with a Pro licence can access the 10 ready-made Power BI reports in the Reports tab. Each report is controlled by a UserID filter, ensuring users only see their own data. Pro users can also edit the standard reports to create customised versions.

Users with a Workspace licence cannot access these reports. See ‘Power BI report permissions’ for a full breakdown of permissions.
