Using Copilot with Verto

If you have a Copilot licence and are accessing Verto via the Teams App, you can use Copilot to search across your data.

Whilst in Teams, you will see the Copilot icon in the left-hand menu. Click to open up the Copilot screen:

Next, you will find the ‘Verto 365' option in the right-hand menu. Click this once to open up a dialogue box and type in your search prompt.

Caution

  • The search features work based on the last site you visited via Teams or via your Microsoft login in the browser. If you have access to more than one Verto site, please ensure you know which site Copilot is querying.

What can Copilot search across?

Copilot can search across the following areas in Verto:

  • Projects
  • Cards
  • Tasks & Milestones
  • Risks
  • Issues
  • Actions
  • Dependencies

When typing in a search prompt, it is important to use key words to help focus the search process. For example, title, code, status, date, priority, open, closed, key etc.

Advice

  • Copilot can access any project you have have an involvement in. However, when performing a search at the entity level (e.g., risks, issues, tasks), Copilot will only return results for items that you are explicitly named on. For instance, if you have access to a project but are only responsible for 2 out of 5 risks, your search for risks within that project will return just those 2 risks.
